* "In addition to all this, German power prices are down today due to lower gas, coal, carbon."

* In the European carbon market CFI2Zc1, the benchmark contract was down 1.72 euros at 65.25 euros a metric ton.

* Dutch and British wholesale gas prices fell as the market sold off its Middle East risk premium after Israel's retaliatory attack on Iran over the weekend and forecasts of milder weather. NG/EU

* "Northern Europe will be more active and partially wet," Georg Muller, a meteorologist at LSEG, said in a note.

* The Nordic power price for next-day physical delivery FXSYSAL=NPX, or system price, rose 7.3 euros or 210.1% to 10.7 euros per MWh.
