STELLANTIS STLAM.MI

(*) CEO Carlos Tavares will visit Detroit this week, where he will seek to develop a strategy to fix the European automaker's struggling North American operations and reassure employees and investors, a person familiar with the plans said.

(*) Rivian's RIVN.O head of manufacturing is leaving the electric vehicle startup to join Stellantis at a time when the maker of Jeep SUVs and Ram pickups is preparing to launch a number of battery powered cars.

Stellantis said on Tuesday its planned investments at Belvidere, Illinois, will be delayed but stressed it is committed to moving forward and is not in violation of its union contract.

Norway's Vaar Energi VAR.OL, controlled by Eni, has again postponed the startup of its North Sea Balder X oil and gas project, planning to begin output in the second quarter of 2025 rather than by the end of this year, the company said on Wednesday.

The bank has renewed for another five years a shareholders' agreement with Credit Agricole CAGR.PA on Agos, a consumer credit company controlled by the French bank in which BPM holds a 39% minority stake, MF daily reported on Wednesday, adding that the agreement includes a simplified path towards a possible listing that could take place in July 2025, as requested by BPM.

The bank concluded two securisations on corporate loans and real estate exposures in the Italian market with a total value of 4.5 billion euros, MF daily reported on Wednesday.

The Italian utility has removed Sicilian gigafactory 3Sun from its list of assets held for sale, as management no longer considers divestment highly likely, MF newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing the company's half-year financial report.

(*) SARAS SRS.MI

Global commodity trader Vitol will hold around 88.4% of the share capital of the Italian oil refiner at the end of its tender offer, Saras said on Wednesday.

BPER BANCA EMII.MI

Norway's Norges Bank cut its stake in the Italian lender to 2.9% as of Aug. 13, from 4.8% previously, Italy's market regulator Consob said in a filing on Tuesday.


(*) SALCEF SCFG.MI

The Italian sustainable mobility company said on Tuesday it expects to shortly close its sale to Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners after receiving regulatory and antitrust clearance from the European Commission. The deal, which will lead to the delisting of the company, was communicated to the market on Apr. 24.
