ECONOMY

ISTAT releases July industrial output data (0800 GMT) and monthly bulletin on the state of the economy in July and August (0900 GMT).

Bank of Italy releases July data on Italian residents deposits with domestic banks, banks lending to non-financial companies and gross bad loans at Italian banks.


(*) The International Corporate Governance Network, a group including well-known asset management firms, has written to Economy Undersecretary Federico Freni warning that changes to shareholder voting rights in Italy could undermine corporate governance standards, The Financial Times reported on Tuesday.


DEBT

The Italian Treasury said on Monday it would sell up to 6.5 billion euros ($7.18 billion) in bonds at a Sept. 12 auction.


COMPANIES

The energy company is preparing to exit Vietnam, three people briefed on the matter told Reuters, in what would be the latest move by a western firm to scrap renewable power projects in a country struggling to implement its decarbonisation plans.

Italy's second-largest bank said on Monday it had issued 1 billion euros of Additional Tier 1 notes targeted to institutional investors.


STELLANTIS STLAM.MI

A U.S. auto safety agency said on Monday it is opening an investigation into more than 781,000 newer Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator sport utility vehicles after reports of underhood fires.


GEFRAN GFRN.MI

The Italian sensors company is looking to take over peers in Germany and North America that have revenues of 10-20 million euros ($11.04 million-$22.09 million), its Chief Executive Marcello Perini told Reuters.
