ZURICH, July 23 (Reuters) -Logitech International "should be on the way to sustainable growth", CEO Hanneke Faber said on Tuesday, helped by its investment in artificial intelligence-enabled products and recovering demand.

"It's really quality growth. It's broad-based across our categories, across the regions, and I'm particularly pleased by the fact that it was driven by better-than-expected demand out in the market," Faber told Reuters after the computer mouse maker reported its first quarter results.

Launching AI enabled products, which allowed users easy access to large language generative models like Chat GPT, and other uses of AI to improve picture and sound quality on video conferencing devices for example, would also help Logitech in future, she said.

"AI is going to be very important," said Faber, "We're just scratching the surface at the moment."
