North Sea Crude-Forties, Ekofisk and Brent tick higher
LONDON, Oct 9 (Reuters) -North Sea Forties, Ekofisk and Brent crude differentials all gained ground on Wednesday as fresh buying interest surfaced from trading firm Gunvor in the afternoon Platts window.
PLATTS WINDOW
* No deals, a source said.
* Brent/Ninian: Vitol bid for an Oct. 21 - Nov. 13 cargo at dated Brent plus $2.45 CIF Rotterdam.
* The bid equated to around dated plus 98 cents on a FOB basis, Reuters calculations showed.
* Brent/Ninian: Gunvor bid at dated plus $1.00 FOB for an Oct. 20-22 cargo.
* On Tuesday, Mercuria had withdrawn a bid for Brent/Ninian crude at dated Brent plus 75 cents FOB.
* Forties: Gunvor bid for an Oct. 25-27 cargo at dated Brent plus $1.05 FOB.
* On Tuesday, Mercuria bought Forties from BP with Oct. 30 - Nov. 1 dates at dated plus 70 cents FOB.
* Ekofisk: Gunvor bid for an Oct. 23-25 cargo at dated plus $1.85 FOB.
* Ekofisk: BP offered a cargo with Nov. 1-3 dates at dated plus $1.90 FOB, but withdrew the offer.
* In the previous session, OMV sold Ekofisk to TotalEnergies Oct. 26-30 at dated Brent plus $2.20 CIF Rotterdam. On an FOB basis the deal equated to dated plus $1.36, Reuters calculations showed.
* WTI Midland: BP offered a cargo with Oct. 29 - Nov. 2 dates at dated plus $2.65 CIF Rotterdam.
* The offer equated to around dated Brent plus $1.72 on a FOB basis, Reuters calculations showed.
* Johan Sverdrup: Neste bid for two cargoes on a one cancels the other basis, but withdrew both bids. It sought Oct. 28 - Nov. 2 and Nov. 3-8 dates at dated minus $1.75 and dated minus $1.30, respectively, both on a FOB basis.
