Plug Power rises after deal to supply electrolyzers to refinery in Spain
** Shares of hydrogen fuel cell maker Plug Power PLUG.O rise 1.2% to $2.12 in extended trade
** Company secures order for 25 megawatts (MW) of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer systems from BP and Iberdrola's joint venture Castellón Green Hydrogen refinery in Spain
** PEM expected to avoid 23,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year
** Company says project will be developed in phases, with the potential expansion of up to 2 gigawatts of electrolysis capacity
** Up till last close, stock down 53.3% YTD
