UK Stocks-Factors to watch on July 25
July 25 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.2%.
* CAR OUTPUT: UK's car output fell for the fourth consecutive month in June, as more manufacturers wound down old models and transitioned towards electric vehicles, industry data showed.
* MORTGAGE RATE: Rising mortgage rates in Britain likely pushed around 320,000 people into poverty, almost 100,000 more than suggested by official statistics, a report showed.
* BARCLAYS: Former Barclays BARC.L CEO John Varley has been ordered by a London tribunal to give evidence at the British bank's appeal against a 50-million-pound ($65-million) fine over its 2008 fundraising with Qatar.
* OIL: Oil prices eased as concerns over weak demand in China, the world's largest crude importer, and expectations of a nearing ceasefire deal in the Middle East overcame gains in the previous session after draws in U.S. inventories.
* METALS: London copper fell further to trade below the $9,000 per-metric-ton level for the first time since early April, as concerns about demand in top consumer China weighed on the market.
* EX-DIVS: SSE SSE.L will trade without entitlement to its latest dividend pay-out on Thursday.
* FTSE: UK shares ended lower on Wednesday under pressure from weakness in luxury goods stocks and disappointing U.S. tech earnings, while Aston Martin surged after its half-yearly earnings update.
