CHICAGO, Sept 19 (Reuters) -Following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) at 8:30 a.m. CDT (1330 GMT) on Thursday.

WHEAT - Down 4 to 6 cents per bushel

* CBOT wheat futures trend lower amid adequate global wheat supplies and strong export competition, particularly from suppliers in the Black Sea region. Market underpinned by concerns about poor weather for crops in Europe and parts of Russia.

* The USDA reported export sales of U.S. 2024/25 wheat in the week ended Sept. 12 at 246,300 metric tons, below a range of trade expectations for 300,000 to 650,000 tons. EXP/WHE

* The International Grains Council lowered its forecast for 2024/25 global wheat production by 1 million metric tons to 798 million tons.

* CBOT December soft red winter wheat WZ24 was last down 5-1/4 cents at $5.70-1/2 a bushel. K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ24 was last down 5 cents at $5.73-1/2 a bushel, and MGEX December spring wheat MWEZ24 was last down 4 cents at $6.12-1/2 a bushel.

CORN - Down 1 to 3 cents per bushel

* Corn futures decline on technical selling and seasonal pressure from the expanding U.S. harvest.

* The USDA reported export sales of U.S. 2024/25 corn in the week ended Sept. 12 at 847,400 metric tons, in line with trade expectations for 550,000 to 1,400,000 tons. EXP/CORN

* The International Grains Council lowered its forecast for 2024/25 global corn production by 2 million metric tons to 1.224 billion tons.

* CBOT December corn CZ24 was last down 2-3/4 cents at $4.10 per bushel.

SOYBEANS - Up 1 to 2 cents per bushel

* Soybean futures inch higher as traders monitor dry weather in South America, particularly Brazil, the world's biggest soy producer and exporter. Larger-than-expected weekly U.S. soybean export sales add support. Rallies capped by seasonal pressure from the harvest of what is projected to be a bumper U.S. soy crop.

* The USDA reported export sales of U.S. 2024/25 soybeans in the week ended Sept. 12 at 1,748,100 metric tons, above a range of trade expectations for 500,000 to 1,600,000 tons. EXP/SOY

* CBOT November soybeans SX24 were last up 1-1/2 cents at $10.15-1/2 per bushel.
