ANKARA, Nov 7 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Thursday.
The lira TRYTOM=D3 closed at 34.2050 against the U.S. dollar, strengthening to mid-Oct levels following U.S. elections.
The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 2.83% higher at 8,862.32 points on Wednesday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Wall Street marched to record highs on Wednesday and major stock markets around the world surged, while bitcoin hit an all-time-high and the dollar was set for its biggest one-day jump in four years after Donald Trump was elected U.S. president.
ERDOGAN PROGRAMME
President Tayyip Erdogan attends the opening ceremony of the European Political Community Summit in Budapest.
PARLIAMENT
Turkish parliament will continue discussing a draft law on judiciary while the 2025 draft budget will be discussed in a parliamentary comission.
TRADE MINISTER
Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat will attend a Turkey-Spain JETCO meeting and an event to increase exports.
CENBANK DATA
The Central Bank will release its weekly money and banking statistics.(1130 GMT)
TREASURY CASH BALANCE TRCASH=ECI
