Oct 25 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Friday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.1%.


* THAMES WATER: Britain's struggling utility Thames Water proposed to extend itsliquidity runway, including up to 3 billion pounds ($3.89 billion) of new money in addition to access to cash reserves and debt extensions.

* THAMES WATER: Thames Water's bonds rose , after the troubled British utility proposed to extend its liquidity runway.

* NATWEST: NatWestNWG.L reported a 26%rise in third quarter profit and raised its outlook for 2024 as it grew lending while maintaining lending margins in the face of falling central bank interest rates.

* BP: British oil giant BP BP.L said on Thursday it has taken full ownership of Lightsource BP, after closing the previously announced buyout of the remaining equity in the solar developer.

* LEGAL & GENERAL: British money manager Legal & General LGEN.L has committed up to $200 million of investment into U.S. rental housing, as a growing number of investors bet the country's battered real estate market could be poised to recover.

* CONSUMER CONFIDENCE: British consumer confidence fell to the lowest level since March as concerns about possible tax hikes dented sentiment in the lead-up to the new government's first budget next week, a long-running survey showed on Friday.

* OIL: Oil prices nudged higher and are on track for a weekly gain of more than 1%, as tensions in the world's top oil-producing region, the Middle East, and a restart in Gaza ceasefire talks in the coming days kept traders on edge.

* GOLD: Gold prices eased but was on track for a weekly gain.
